I know you are probably thinking.... who is Doreen? well although that's the name of my sister we are not talking relatives here I am talking Big Bra! including plus size bras and how to make sure you buy the correct bra size. Doreen is the name of the best selling Big Bra in the world since her creation ! Although she has been neglected because of her dowdy image and over her name which has been considered too old fashioned. Something I am sure my sister would strongly disagree with ! But she works and sells well. Doreen provides uplift and support even though she isn't wired. She comes in a range of fittings suitable for the full figured woman including plus size bras and is comfortable and practical for everyday use providing of course you have the correct bra size. With the average body size of UK women now a 16 with a D cup it is no wonder women are seeking a more supportive Big bra like Doreen. Some online retailers of plus size bras also believe that Doreen is now finding popularity with the younger market as they have seen a marked increase in the number of younger customers ( 20-35 years ) buying a Doreen. So, whose saying she is unpopular and old fashioned now! It's important to acknowledge that a product like Doreen, which many of us fuller figured women have had for years, is now being noticed for how good she really is. This also shows how the current retail market is widening in not just focusing on small sizes but considering the more realistic bra size and body shape that we have, which is more good news for us!

Now I'm not suggesting that all fuller figured women should rush out and buy six Doreens for every occasion but as a Big bra she is excellent for every day to day use. She has led me to think about all the other plus size bras available to us fuller figured women and the importance of getting the the bra size selection correct as ill fitting bras cause damage to our breast tissue and are often the source of our back problems. Bras also effect our posture and how we feel so it's important to find and wear a bra that does its job well but is also comfortable and provides us with the feel good factor that leads to self confidence

So, there you have it, you have now met Doreen!  There are lots of other Big bra and Plus size bras available to buy of course so having decided to look at what else is out there for us fuller figured women I have split these into three categories; Day to day wear, Evening/Going out wear and Naughty but nice wear and suggest some ideas for you. And do not forget to buy the correct bra size!

Day to day wear:

The Panache Tango ll is a balconnet bra so whilst maintaining support it also provides an uplift, something which when you are going out will help both with the way you feel and your body shape. I think this bra also has a little sexy feel to it with the embroidery and style making it that bit different from the bra you would wear everyday.  It's important as a fuller figured woman to feel sexy and desirable but also to be comfortable with what we are wearing. And something as little as frills or lace or just a different colour bra from what you would normally wear can make you feel good and sexy.
